George Kokeshi Doll by Sketch.inc for Lucie Kaas

Sketch.inc’s beautiful wooden dolls are hand-painted in England for Danish company, Lucie Kaas. These charming figurines are modern interpretations of traditional Japanese wooden Kokeshi dolls; re-envisioned as famous icons by Sketch.inc’s founder Becky Kemp.

This doll is inspired by British singer-songwriter George Michael. 

George Michael is considered one of the most significant cultural icons of the MTV generation and is one of the best-selling musicians of all time. He launched his career with Wham! in the 1980's before going solo for the remainder of his much-celebrated career.

Sketch.inc’s kokeshi dolls are made from beech wood, meticulously hand-painted, then sealed with Dola satin varnish.
