Orders placed before 2pm usually ship the same or the following business day. We ship via UPS Ground and the USPS and the time it takes to receive your order will depend on your location. Orders from Canada:
Following are the prices for regular shipments to Canada. We ship via USPS Priority or First Class Mail which takes 6-10 business days. All international customers are responsible for any duties and import taxes incurred and for any return shipping costs.

Above $300 the price of shipping is approximately 10% of your order total.
Orders from anywhere else in the world:
We ship all international orders via USPS Priority or First Class Mail which takes 6-10 business days. When you place your order and enter your address a drop down menu will appear for you to choose your country. If your country is not listed please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Shipping costs for your country will appear when you have filled in your international address. Please note that all international customers are responsible for any duties and import taxes incurred and any return shipping costs.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card. We do not accept personal or corporate checks, or cash.
Gretel collects 7% sales tax for purchases made by Florida residents. Residents in other states are responsible for complying with their local state tax laws.
Out of stock items
We do our best to keep all the items displayed on our website in stock. Occasionally, however, we run out of particularly popular items and this fact will be indicated on the relevant product page. You can purchase out-of-stock items and we will contact you with an estimated delivery time. If you then wish to cancel the order you can do so within 24 hours.
Special order items
Gretel offers a concise collection of carefully selected pieces. There may be, however, an item that we don’t keep in stock (from a manufacturer that we do) that you would like to buy. If you have seen something that you would be interested in please let us know by email or by phone and we would be happy to look into ordering it for you.
Gift wrapping is offered at a charge of $6 per order (as standard multiple items in one order will be wrapped together). Just check the ‘Gift-wrapping’ box at check-out. If you have several items in your order we will contact you to see if you would like any wrapped separately. Each individual item in this case costs $4.

We accept returns within 30 days of an order's delivery. We will issue a full refund (less the return shipping costs, and outbound if your order qualified for free shipping) as long as the merchandise is in its original condition, and has all its packaging, inserts and tags intact. If you decide to return your purchase email us at email@example.com and we will send you instructions. You will be responsible for the return shipping cost (including the necessary insurance). However, if the product is defective, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange for a UPS call tag to have the merchandise picked up from you.
If emailing us about your return please make sure that you include your name, address, telephone number, order number, and e-mail address.
We inspect and pack our products carefully to ensure that you receive them in perfect condition. If you do receive a damaged item please contact us at email@example.com to arrange a replacement (within three days of receiving the shipment). Please keep the original items and all packaging material. We will require a photograph of the damaged item in order to provide a replacement.
